dirtbag
The dirtbag collection is inspired by
climbers, that drop out of society to
live a free life in nature and to avoid
social pressure and norms.
The so called dirtbags don't own anything,
the travel the world, they climb and they
could never imagine having a home or
a daily routine.
They only accept part time jobs to pay,
what needs to be paid:
Their one and only hobby climbing.
Denim became important for me
early in my career. Candiani offered our
University a high amount of fabric to get to
know this high quality indigo denim, that is
known for individuality and sustainability.
The denim production is known as a dirty field
of the fashion industry, but especially for
"green" designers this problem becomes more of a
challenge than a risk.
In 2017, in cooperation with
Candiani, the famous sustai-
nable denim manufacturer from
Italy, I developed a collection
inspired by Hugo Boss.
